The ICNP C-Space now has 500 registered users- most in the last 3 months since it was used to launch version 2 of ICNP. The programme advisory groups are meeting in ICN HQ in Geneva over two days, and there are some great ideas with next steps on moving this work into clinical content development.
Welcome to people visiting here following the panel presentation on Detailed Clinical Modelling at NI2009. As promised, the first part of the presentation is available here (PDF, 6MB)
The Panel featured Derek Hoy, Anne Casey, Evelyn Hovenga and William Goossen.
Nick is part of the ICNP team which is at ICN Congress in Durban, South Africa this week, for the launch of ICNP version 2.
The ICNP C-Space resource (based on the ClinicalTemplates.org framework) is now the home of ICNP version 2, including the browser and a facility to register your project and download ICNP.
The ICNP project site has now gone live.
The site now has a working version of the mapping tool, and is being used first by the Scottish Community Nursing Census project to map its dataset to the ICNP.
Over the coming months, we expect other groups to take life working on further mappings and to help work on the Catalogue development tools.
I have recently returned from a very interesting trip to Brotzu Hospital, in Cagliari, Sardinia. While there, Ian McNicoll (of Ocean Informatics) and I gave a presentation to the informatics staff and members of the Liver Transplant Department on the role of openEHR archetypes and templates in the development of their EHR system.
We then spent a day working on the technical aspects of the project with the project team members there. It is always good to meet people after working with them ‘virtually’ and we look forward to moving the project on over the next few months. Their site should be live very soon.
