I have recently returned from a very interesting trip to Brotzu Hospital, in Cagliari, Sardinia. While there, Ian McNicoll (of Ocean Informatics) and I gave a presentation to the informatics staff and members of the Liver Transplant Department on the role of openEHR archetypes and templates in the development of their EHR system.

We are pleased to announce a contract with "Sardegna Ricerche":http://www.sardegnaricerche.it/ in Sardinia, Italy to develop a site for the development of templates for use in liver transplant surgery. The project is in collaboration with "Ocean Informatics":http://www.oceaninformatics.com.
