I have recently returned from a very interesting trip to Brotzu Hospital, in Cagliari, Sardinia. While there, Ian McNicoll (of Ocean Informatics) and I gave a presentation to the informatics staff and members of the Liver Transplant Department on the role of openEHR archetypes and templates in the development of their EHR system.

We then spent a day working on the technical aspects of the project with the project team members there. It is always good to meet people after working with them ‘virtually’ and we look forward to moving the project on over the next few months. Their site should be live very soon.
